Styling for HOME NZ – Home of the Year finalist “Cabin Fever” April/May 2012

It’s always a pleasure to style a house for Home NZ, and I look forward to showcasing the architectural delights of the dwellings they are featuring.

Here is an article from a recent issue where I styled one of the finalists for the ”Home of the Year” competition. MOTSP is in reality Yvette Jay, an interior designer who trained and worked as an architect, then crossed the void to the dark side. She now has her own practice - Yvette Jay Interior Design - whose focus is sophisticated interior design for residential and commercial projects. Her loft studio is based in Grey Lynn, Auckland. Each of her design projects, from the smallest to the largest, is approached individually, with a balance of consummate professionalism and relaxed approachability. Yvette works closely with her clients to know them and their needs, enabling her to fuse their own uniqueness into each project.
